Sprint timeline for July 17, 2026
8:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Registration, team check-ins, setting up setups and power grids.
8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Rules briefing, problem statements announcement, and official kickoff.
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
The official hackathon sprint! Brainstorm, design, code, build, and deploy.
6:00 PM – 6:30 PM
GitHub pushes and project submissions freeze. Final prototypes must be ready.
6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Live showcases, demos, and evaluation by our expert judging panels.
7:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Announcing the winners, distributing shields, certificates, and closing remarks.

Teams can have 2 to 4 members. Solo participation is not allowed — form a team or we'll help you find one!
It's ₹100 per head for external participants. Completely free for SIMATS students!
Absolutely! ByteBlaze welcomes participants of all skill levels. It's a great opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow.
Bring your laptop, charger, student ID, and any hardware components if you're in the Hardware track. We'll provide the rest.
A working laptop with your preferred development environment set up. For the Hardware track, basic components like Arduino/Raspberry Pi are recommended. Power strips and Wi-Fi will be provided.
Food won't be provided, but participants can make use of our canteens.
You can use open-source libraries and frameworks, but core project work must be done during the hackathon. Pre-built projects are not allowed.
Projects are evaluated on Innovation & Creativity, Technical Complexity, Presentation & Demo, and Real-World Impact. See the Judging Criteria section for more details.
